The project Cantata 2 (Celtic Authentic Niche Tourism in the Atlantic Area 2), financed by the ERDF through the Transnational Cooperation Operational Programme Atlantic Area, aims for the comprehensive development of the Galician rural environment through a greater use of the local food, agriculture and touristic potential and the improvement of the competitiveness of its SMEs, contributing for sustainable development and economic diversification. The project ends on the 31st March 2012 and has a total budget of € 2,279,984. For Galicia, the approved budget is € 511,726, 65% of which is financed by the ERDF funds.
